Changzhou Mobile Toilet Fecal Treatment

Admin October 06, 2026

There are various methods for fecal treatment in mobile toilets in Changzhou, differing according to the type of toilet.

Flush-type: This is a relatively common treatment method. Sewage is discharged into municipal sewage networks or septic tanks through pipelines. The design of the sewage discharge system must strictly comply with relevant national standards, such as the Urban Public Toilet Design Standard CJJ14 - 2016, to ensure smooth and environmentally friendly sewage discharge. During use, septic tanks should be cleaned regularly to prevent blockages and odors, and attention should be paid to water conservation to reduce water waste.

Biodegradable type: Microbial agents are added to decompose feces, converting them into harmless substances such as water and carbon dioxide. This method is environmentally friendly and almost odorless, making it very suitable for long-term fixed locations. However, microbial agents need to be replenished regularly, and usage intensity should be controlled to ensure decomposition effectiveness.

Chemical treatment: Chemical agents are used to decompose and eliminate excreta. Adding chemical agents can control odors and promote excreta decomposition. The treated excreta is further processed through specialized treatment equipment or discharged into the sewage system. However, chemical agents may cause environmental pollution, and the treated wastewater needs to be disposed of as hazardous waste and should not be discharged randomly.

Anaerobic digestion: Microorganisms play a role in the system, decomposing and digesting excreta to produce biogas (which can be used for energy) and fertilizer (which can be used for agriculture or horticulture). This method can effectively reduce volume and delay treatment needs, making it suitable for situations where one needs to be away from the treatment facility for a long time.

Multi-functional sewage outlets with manual cleaning: Mobile toilets may be equipped with manual cleaning functions, such as fecal storage tanks or pre-buried septic tanks, which require manual cleaning. The feces are stored and then treated collectively. This method requires regular cleaning to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the mobile toilets.

Mechanical treatment: Specialized equipment is used to perform solid-liquid separation, decomposition, and disinfection of feces in mobile toilets, reducing the impact on the environment while ensuring hygiene and safety.

Waterless suction type: There is no flushing device in the toilet. The sewage tank located at the bottom of the toilet directly receives the excreta of users, which may require a high suction frequency. Recirculating flush-type mobile toilets use anaerobic treatment devices for fecal sewage and biological strains to accelerate the fermentation and decomposition of fecal sewage and reduce the frequency of fecal sewage suction.
