Changyang County has implemented comprehensive measures for the provision, construction, and enhancement of supporting facilities for mobile toilets.
Rental and Sales Services for Mobile Toilets: Changyang County in Yichang City offers rental and sales services for mobile toilets, primarily targeting various outdoor events, construction sites, temporary gatherings, and other scenarios to meet sanitation needs in these settings. These mobile toilets are made of high-quality materials and are reasonably designed, making them easy to clean and maintain. They are also equipped with water-saving flushing systems to effectively conserve water resources. Additionally, built-in ventilation systems ensure air circulation inside the toilets, enhancing the user experience. Furthermore, the use of lightweight, high-strength materials and modular design makes the installation and dismantling process quick and convenient, significantly improving usage efficiency.
Construction of Mobile Public Toilets at Key Locations: Since 2021, Changyang Town has actively negotiated with multiple departments to install mobile public toilets at key locations around Changyu Street, Changhan Road, Daotian Subway Station, etc. By the end of 2021, five mobile public toilets had been successfully constructed and put into use. These toilets are located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Huishang Road and Fusheng East Street, the southwest corner of the intersection of Changxing Road and Changyu Street, south of the Changhan Road Daotian Convenience Market, southeast of Daotian Subway Station, and west of Xiyue Garden on Changxing East Street, providing great convenience for surrounding residents and passersby.
Addition of Urban Rest Stops: Based on the seven riverside urban public toilets set up along the Qingjiang River, the Changyang County Urban Management Bureau faced space constraints that prevented the expansion and addition of urban rest stops. Therefore, considering the actual situation, they selected new locations in the middle sections between the seven riverside platforms and successfully added three standalone urban rest stops by integrating配套 (supporting) funds from the county federation of trade unions. The addition of these urban rest stops has not only further improved the level of public sanitation facilities in Changyang County but also provided citizens with more comfortable and convenient rest and service areas.
