The Changyang mobile environmental sanitation toilet is a public toilet facility installed at key locations in Changyang Town to address residents' toilet needs. It is mobile, environmentally friendly, durable, and well-equipped.
I. Construction Background and Distribution
In response to residents' complaints about the lack of public toilets in Changyang Town, after consultations with multiple departments, 12 mobile toilets were installed at key locations such as Changyu Street, Changhan Road, and Daotian Subway Station. By the end of 2021, five of these toilets had been completed and put into use, located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Huishang Road and Fusheng East Street, the southwest corner of the intersection of Changxing Road and Changyu Street, south of the Daotian convenience market on Changhan Road, the southeast corner of Daotian Subway Station, and west of Xiyue Garden on Changxing East Street. These locations cover transportation hubs, commercial areas, and residential areas, effectively alleviating the difficulty of finding public toilets.
II. Structural and Material Characteristics
The frame of the mobile environmental sanitation toilet is mostly welded from national standard steel, ensuring a sturdy structure that can be repeatedly disassembled and reassembled. The surface is covered with materials such as color-coated steel plates or carved panels, which have both anti-corrosion and fire-resistant properties, with a service life of over 20 years. This design is suitable for outdoor environments and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
III. Internal Configuration and Functions
- Sanitary Treatment System: Independent toilet pits are used for separate treatment. The urine channel utilizes gravity flow, while the feces channel is cleaned by a piston-type scraper mechanical device, reducing manual intervention.
- Safety and Convenience Facilities: Equipped with anti-slip floors, automatic flushing toilet bowls, and ventilation and lighting systems to enhance user comfort and safety.
- Sewage Treatment Methods:
- Water Flush and Waterless Flush Suction Type: Excrement is treated through external water sources or suction equipment.
- Recirculating Water Flush Type: Equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices, biological strains are added, and biofilm technology is used to accelerate the decomposition of feces. The treated water can be recycled for flushing, achieving water conservation and environmental protection.
- Dry Packaging Type: Without a water flush device, excrement is collected by biodegradable plastic bags, which are automatically replaced after use and collected centrally for treatment, suitable for water-scarce or temporary scenarios.
