Changle Mobile Container Toilet

Admin October 11, 2026

There are mobile container toilets in Changle District, with relevant facilities at Beimaoshan Beach as an example, offering multiple functions and specific charging modes.

Facility Appearance and Functions

At Beimaoshan Beach in Fuzhou's Changle District, there is a public toilet resembling a mobile container. It is not just a simple toilet but integrates multiple functions. In addition to basic toilet functions, which are shared by both men and women, it also features two additional shower rooms, providing great convenience for tourists who want to rinse off sand and seawater after playing at the beach. Furthermore, it is equipped with vending machines, allowing tourists to easily purchase needed drinks, snacks, and other items, meeting various needs during their visit.

Charging Mode

This mobile container toilet adopts an unmanned QR code payment system. Previously, the charging standard was to scan a QR code and pay 10 yuan for six minutes of use. If tourists needed more time after entering the toilet, there was another QR code inside for extending the time, but the only option was to pay another 10 yuan for an additional six minutes. Later, the charging standard was adjusted, reportedly to 2 yuan per use. This adjustment in the charging mode may be aimed at better adapting to market demand and improving tourists' experience and satisfaction.

Significance

The presence of such mobile container toilets in tourist areas like the beaches of Changle District holds significant importance. On one hand, they provide tourists with convenient toilet, shower, and shopping facilities, enhancing their comfort and convenience during their visit, attracting more tourists, and promoting the development of local tourism. On the other hand, their mobility allows for flexible placement and adjustment according to the foot traffic and actual needs of different areas, improving resource utilization efficiency and avoiding potential resource waste and unreasonable layout issues associated with fixed toilet construction.
