Cement Prefabricated House Ridge Construction
The construction methods for the ridge of cement prefabricated houses and key points related to ridge height are as follows:

Construction Methods
- Direct Pouring Method: This method requires preset protruding steel bars on the roof, which need to be connected to the inclined beams. After that, the slope pouring work is carried out. For frame construction, at least several inclined beams and one crossbeam are needed to form the basic frame. After the frame is built, roofing battens are laid on it, and finally, cement tiles are fixed to the roofing battens with special nails to complete the ridge construction. This method has good integrity, but the construction process is relatively complex and has high requirements for construction techniques. It is necessary to ensure that the connection between the steel bars and the inclined beams is firm and that the pouring quality meets the standards to ensure the stability and durability of the roof.
- Fork-shaped Cement Panel Ridge Roof Component Fabrication Method: This method uses three cement panels connected by welding or bolts to form a fork-shaped component, replacing traditional structures such as beams, purlins, and rafters. There are various options for cement panels. They can be solid or hollow, and in terms of shape, they can be flat or channel-shaped. A width of 0.6 - 1m is relatively appropriate, and the thickness should be determined according to the load-bearing requirements and seismic resistance requirements of the house. During construction, it is only necessary to perform horizontal continuous splicing on the built walls. The construction is relatively simple and fast, which can effectively shorten the construction period. Moreover, the components have a high degree of standardization, and the quality is relatively easy to control.
Ridge Height
The ridge height of large cement tiles is usually around 15 - 20 centimeters. This height range has been verified through practice to be relatively reasonable. If the ridge height is too high, it will increase the overall weight of the roof, placing a greater burden on the house structure and potentially affecting the safety of the house, increasing the risk of collapse. On the other hand, if the ridge height is too low, it may not effectively meet the requirements for roof drainage and waterproofing. In case of rainfall, problems such as water accumulation and leakage are likely to occur, affecting the normal use and durability of the house.
