Reinforcement of Cement Brick Prefabricated Panel Houses

Admin September 19, 2026

Reinforcement of cement brick prefabricated panel houses can be achieved through various methods, as detailed below:

Foundation Reinforcement: The foundation is the cornerstone of a house, and its stability is crucial. For cement brick prefabricated panel houses, increasing the foundation size and deepening the foundation can enhance the contact area and depth between the foundation and the soil, thereby improving the foundation's bearing capacity. Additionally, installing steel reinforcement mesh can strengthen the foundation's overall integrity and tensile strength. Furthermore, adding reinforcement agents or foundation sealing materials can fill minor cracks and pores in the foundation, enhancing its density and seismic resistance.

Structural Reinforcement: Installing metal components such as steel beams, columns, and plates at critical locations like walls, stairs, and roofs can effectively increase the overall strength and stiffness of the house. These metal components can bear and distribute partial loads, reducing the burden on the original structure. Alternatively, injecting reinforced concrete into the walls can integrate the walls with the concrete, significantly enhancing their seismic resistance.

Frame Reinforcement: Adding metal frames to the exterior walls of the house and connecting them to the walls forms a unified structure, increasing the overall strength and stability of the house. Incorporating reinforcement agents or sealing materials into the frame structure can enhance its seismic resistance and reduce deformation and damage during earthquakes.

Seismic Isolation Reinforcement: Incorporating seismic isolation devices such as spring isolators or rubber isolators into the foundation or structure of prefabricated panel houses can absorb and dissipate seismic energy through their deformation during an earthquake, reducing the direct impact on the building and thereby lowering the degree of damage.

Steel Reinforcement: Reinforcing critical parts of the house, such as walls, stairs, and beams and columns, with additional steel bars can enhance the overall strength and stability of the house. Steel bars have high tensile strength and can withstand significant pulling forces.

Increasing Floor Slab Section: Adding a reinforced concrete layer not less than 40 millimeters thick to the surface and underside of the prefabricated floor slab can increase its bearing capacity. This method enhances the floor slab's ability to withstand greater loads by increasing its thickness and reinforcement quantity.

Using I-Beams as Crossbeams: Installing profiled steel at the four corners beneath the prefabricated panels and transforming them into octagonal supports can effectively enhance the floor slab's bearing capacity.

Adding a Concrete Layer on the Prefabricated Panel: Removing one prefabricated panel in the middle to create a crossbeam, adding a vertical beam (a "cross" beam) on the crossbeam, and then adding another floor slab layer can increase the floor slab's thickness and improve safety.
