Canton Fair Prefabricated Houses
The prefabricated houses displayed at the Canton Fair feature innovative designs and practical characteristics, with some products even receiving award recognition.

At the 2024 Canton Fair Design Innovation Award presentation, the mobile house P7 from Foshan Aikai Holding Group Co., Ltd. became the focal point of the prefabricated housing category. Winning a silver award in its first participation in the CF Awards, its core strengths lie in modular design and environmental adaptability. The house adopts a split structure, enabling rapid assembly and disassembly while adapting to complex terrains. Its wind and earthquake resistance are achieved through deep foundation anchoring. Thermal insulation and moisture resistance are ensured by double-layer walls and sealed structures. Additionally, it incorporates new energy vehicle technology, featuring a heat pump system to regulate indoor temperature and humidity, balancing energy efficiency and comfort. The modular design also simplifies after-sales maintenance, allowing individual components to be replaced independently, reducing long-term usage costs.
Another distinctive category is container-modified prefabricated houses, exemplified by foldable container houses. These houses achieve spatial expansion through mechanical structures; for instance, one model can fold and expand from a base area of 15㎡ to 40㎡, meeting temporary living or office needs. Assembly efficiency is significantly improved, with a four-person team able to complete setup in just six hours. Equipped with basic living facilities such as independent bathrooms and kitchens, they are suitable for emergency rescue and construction site accommodation scenarios. Their export markets are concentrated in Southeast Asia and Africa, primarily serving local infrastructure projects' demands for rapidly deployable housing.
From a technological trend perspective, the prefabricated houses at the Canton Fair exhibit two main directions: first, functional integration, such as the mobile house P7 integrating new energy technologies with architecture to enhance energy efficiency; second, scenario customization, with container houses adapting to different climates and terrains through modular combinations. These innovations not only drive the industrialization of construction but also provide efficient solutions for global infrastructure development.
