Cangzhou Prefabricated Assembled Housing
Cangzhou prefabricated assembled housing is a new type of housing that uses modular or light-steel prefabricated construction methods as its core, achieving efficient construction through factory-prefabricated components and rapid on-site assembly. It features short construction periods, policy support, and comprehensive enterprise services.

Construction Methods and Efficiency
Cangzhou prefabricated assembled housing adopts a factory-standardized prefabrication + on-site hoisting and assembly model. Up to 90% of the components (such as walls, floors, and roofs) are manufactured in the factory and then transported to the building site for mechanical hoisting and assembly of the main structure. The construction period is only one-fourth that of traditional brick-and-mortar buildings. For example, in 2025, 2,515 rural households in Cangzhou used this method to build their homes, with the main structure completed in 7-15 days, significantly shortening the construction period and reducing on-site wet operations and labor dependency.
Policy Support and Subsidies
Cangzhou has launched a pilot program for prefabricated rural housing since 2022, providing special subsidies to participating rural households:
- Rural households included in flood damage restoration and reconstruction tasks who choose prefabricated rural housing receive a subsidy of 15,000 yuan per household;
- General rural households receive a subsidy of 10,000 yuan per household.
The policy promotes the popularization of prefabricated buildings through economic incentives, reducing construction costs for rural households.
Local Enterprises and Services
Local enterprises in Cangzhou have formed a complete industrial chain:
- Cangzhou Mingchang Prefabricated Housing Co., Ltd. provides one-stop services for the design, production, sales, and installation of light-steel villas and integrated housing, focusing on quality control and after-sales service;
- Enterprises such as Suning Bangju Modular Construction have formed competitive advantages through their own physical production lines and completed cases within the county, ensuring component precision and construction efficiency.
Standardized Construction Process
The construction process covers on-site surveying of the building site, factory prefabrication of modules, transportation to the site, 7-15 days of hoisting and assembly to complete the main structure, and interior and exterior decoration as well as plumbing and electrical installations. The standardized process reduces on-site coordination costs and ensures controllable construction quality.
Optimized Living Performance
In response to the climatic characteristics of northern China, the prefabricated housing improves insulation and seismic structures:
- High-efficiency insulation materials are used to address low winter temperatures and reduce heating costs;
- Wall moisture-proof designs are optimized to prevent moisture return phenomena common in traditional housing;
- Structural seismic performance is enhanced to improve living safety and comfort.
Wide Range of Application Scenarios
It covers rural self-built villas, cultural and tourism homestays, and temporary construction site housing, among other needs, and is particularly suitable for rural households seeking time-saving, hassle-free, rapid completion, or long-term cost reduction. Modular design also supports personalized customization to meet different functional requirements.
