How to Make a Camouflage Container House
Admin September 17, 2026
The production of a camouflage container house can refer to the Ningxia container digital camouflage spraying and camouflage coating construction plan, combined with creative design to complete. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-construction Preparation and Surface Treatment
- Cleaning and Pre-treatment: The surface of the container must be thoroughly cleaned to remove oil, rust, dust, and other impurities, ensuring paint adhesion. High-pressure water jets can be used for rinsing, accompanied by sandpaper for grinding rusted areas, and rust removers if necessary. If the surface is uneven or has old paint layers, repairs or grinding to a flat state are required.
- Primer Coating: Apply an anti-rust primer on the cleaned surface to form a protective layer, preventing metal oxidation and corrosion. The primer must be evenly coated, with a thickness that meets the product specifications. The drying time should be adjusted according to the ambient temperature (usually 4-6 hours).
II. Selection and Mixing of Digital Camouflage Paint
- Paint Selection: Choose digital camouflage paint specifically designed for metal surfaces, which must possess weather resistance, UV resistance, and corrosion resistance to ensure long-term use without fading or cracking.
- Color Mixing: Accurately mix colors according to the design pattern (such as jungle camouflage, desert camouflage, etc.). Refer to standard camouflage color cards (such as FED-STD-595 or NATO standards), using electronic color-mixing equipment or manually mixing basic color paints (such as green, brown, black, earth yellow, etc.), adjusting through test spraying to achieve the target color value.
III. Camouflage Pattern Spraying Construction
- Pattern Positioning: Use templates or laser projectors to mark the outlines of camouflage patches on the container surface, ensuring a natural distribution and proportional coordination of the pattern.
- Spraying Techniques: Use a professional spray gun (such as an HVLP high-pressure low-flow spray gun), controlling the spraying pressure (usually 2-3 bar) and distance (20-30 cm), covering evenly with a 'cross-hatching' method to avoid runs or color differences. Spray the main color (such as green) first, then gradually overlay auxiliary colors (such as brown, black) to create a sense of layering.
- Detail Handling: Use a small-sized spray gun or brush for touch-ups in edge areas to ensure pattern integrity; inspect the surface after spraying and perform local repairs on flawed areas.
IV. Post-construction Protection and Creative Expansion
- Varnish Protection: After the camouflage paint is completely dry (usually more than 24 hours), apply a transparent varnish to enhance the paint's wear resistance, scratch resistance, and glossiness.
- Creative Design References: Draw inspiration from luxury container house cases, adding functional modules such as doors, windows, insulation layers, and solar panels on top of the camouflage coating; or refer to DIY mini house designs, transforming the container structure through cutting and welding to create personalized living spaces.
Precautions: Construction should be carried out in a well-ventilated environment, with protective masks and gloves worn; avoid working in rainy or high-temperature (>35℃) environments to prevent paint blistering or rapid drying leading to cracking.
