BYD Mobile Toilet Area
BYD's solutions for mobile toilet-related scenarios cover five main directions: owner-customized modifications, emergency portable equipment, vehicle-mounted facilities, charging station ecosystem services, and RV-specific designs.

Owner-Customized Modifications
Some BYD Dolphin owners have installed portable toilets to enable in-vehicle restroom use. The process involves lifting the rear seats, placing the toilet, covering it with a plastic bag, and using the rear privacy curtain for privacy. Such modifications are personalized and require owners to purchase equipment themselves while ensuring secure installation. However, attention should be paid to limited in-vehicle space and ventilation issues.Emergency Portable Solutions
- Foldable Portable Toilets: Designed specifically for in-vehicle use, these foldable toilets can be stored in the reserved space of some models. Before use, a disposable garbage bag and absorbent pad should be laid down, and the used items should be sealed and discarded. It is recommended to choose models with lock clasps to enhance privacy and prevent odor diffusion.
- Gender-Specific Portable Devices: Men can use large-capacity urinals with guide tubes, while women can use leak-proof specialized urine bags. Both should be sealed immediately and placed in waterproof storage bags. These devices are compact and easy to carry, suitable for short-distance emergencies.
Vehicle-Mounted Facilities
- Vehicle Hygiene Kits: Original or third-party hygiene kits typically include disposable toilet seat covers, disinfectant wipes, and other consumables. Some high-end models (such as the Denza series) support the optional installation of small in-vehicle restroom modules with integrated flushing and ventilation functions.
- Privacy Space Creation: By adding rear privacy curtains, sunshades, and foldable tables, an independent area can be temporarily created. After use, disinfectant spray should be used to clean the air and prevent bacterial growth.
Charging Station Ecosystem Services
BYD has built over 6,000 fast-charging stations (with a target of 20,000 by the end of the year), and all vehicle brands can charge for free. Some stations are equipped with rest areas, coffee, and other value-added services, as well as public restrooms, allowing users to address restroom needs while charging and avoiding the hassle of using portable devices in the vehicle.RV-Specific Design
BYD's new energy Type C RVs are equipped with in-vehicle mobile toilets on the side of the body. The chassis integrates 56 kWh of electricity and a 400-liter freshwater tank, supporting long-term travel. This design achieves self-sufficiency through an independent water and electricity system, reducing reliance on external facilities, and is suitable for outdoor exploration or long-distance travel scenarios.
Precautions: When using portable devices in the vehicle, strictly use disposable protective items and ventilate promptly to disperse odors. When parking, choose areas covered by surveillance, pull up the privacy curtain for遮挡 (blocking), and avoid using directly beside public roads to ensure privacy and safety.
