Bus Mobile Toilet Regulations
The regulations for bus mobile toilets cover four main aspects: structure, leasing, usage, and sanitation management, as detailed below:

I. Structural and Functional Requirements
Bus mobile toilets are not ordinary vehicle modifications but specialized sanitation facilities customized based on bus or trailer chassis. They integrate multiple independent toilet compartments, equipped with independent freshwater tanks (for flushing), wastewater tanks (for storing excreta), electrical systems (for powering lighting and equipment operation), and ventilation systems (to maintain air circulation). The capacity of the wastewater tank typically ranges from 1.5 to 3 tons, utilizing vacuum suction technology for efficient excreta disposal and odor reduction. Some models are also equipped with air conditioning and deodorization systems to enhance user comfort.
II. Leasing and Operational Standards
- Supporting Service Requirements: Lessees must confirm whether the supplier provides vacuum sewage truck services to ensure timely sewage removal and prevent overflow from affecting usage.
- Contract Terms: The lease agreement must specify the frequency of sewage removal (e.g., daily or every two days), the responsible party for removal (supplier or third party), and waste disposal standards (compliant with environmental regulations). The sewage removal party must hold relevant permits to ensure legal waste disposal.
- Fee Structure: Fees typically include a base rental fee (calculated daily or monthly), sewage service fees (calculated based on the number of removals or volume of sewage), and vehicle transportation fees (including round-trip transportation costs). The calculation method and included items must be clearly specified in the contract.
III. Usage Guidelines
- Parking Requirements: The vehicle must be parked on hardened surfaces or ground paved with steel plates, as the total weight can exceed 12 tons when fully loaded, and soft ground may cause the vehicle to tilt or even overturn.
- Access Reservation: An access passage must be reserved for the sewage truck, with a width of no less than 3.5 meters and a height of no less than 4.5 meters, to ensure smooth operation of the removal equipment.
- Time Restrictions: Some regions have regulations on usage times, such as prohibiting engine operation at night to avoid noise complaints. It is necessary to understand local policies in advance and comply with them.
IV. Sanitation Management Requirements
- Compliance: As public transportation sanitation facilities, bus mobile toilets must comply with the "Regulations on Sanitation Management in Public Transportation Places," including regular cleaning, disinfection, and equipment maintenance.
- Personnel Management: Operators must provide sanitation knowledge training to staff and organize regular health check-ups to ensure proper operation and health safety.
- Accident Reporting: If a health hazard incident (such as the spread of infectious diseases) occurs due to sanitation issues, the operating unit must immediately report to the transportation health supervision authority and cooperate with the investigation and handling.
