How to Prefabricate Brick-Concrete Structure Houses
When it comes to the prefabricated components of brick-concrete structure houses, it mainly involves the laying of prefabricated slabs, and the process is as follows:

Firstly, clean the laying site. This is the basic preparatory work for laying prefabricated slabs. Ensure that the ground is flat and solid, without debris or standing water. An uneven ground can cause uneven stress on the prefabricated slabs, affecting their stability and service life. Debris and standing water may interfere with subsequent construction and even lead to poor adhesion between the prefabricated slabs and the ground, resulting in problems such as hollowing.
Secondly, snap control lines. Precisely snap the control lines for laying prefabricated slabs on the ground according to the spacing and positions required by the design. This step is crucial as it provides an accurate positioning basis for laying the prefabricated slabs, ensuring that they are laid neatly and in line with the overall design requirements of the building, avoiding issues such as skewing and misalignment.
Next, hoist the prefabricated slabs. Use specialized hoisting equipment for the operation. During the hoisting process, ensure that the prefabricated slabs are stable to prevent collisions and damage. Slowly place the prefabricated slabs at the pre-determined laying positions, and then carefully adjust their positions and elevations to align them completely with the control lines, ensuring the accuracy of the installation of the prefabricated slabs.
Then, treat the gaps. Uniform gaps, generally 10 - 20 millimeters wide, need to be left between adjacent prefabricated slabs. These gaps should be filled with fine aggregate concrete or mortar. During filling, ensure that the filling is dense without hollowing or cracks. Poor gap treatment can affect the integrity and waterproof performance of the house and may also cause damage to the prefabricated slabs due to uneven stress during use.
Finally, inspect and accept. After the laying is completed, conduct a comprehensive and detailed inspection and acceptance of the prefabricated slabs to ensure that their laying quality meets the design requirements and relevant standards. Only through strict quality inspection can the reliability and safety of the prefabricated slab part of the brick-concrete structure house be guaranteed, providing a foundation for subsequent construction and use.
It should be noted that a brick-concrete structure uses bricks or blocks and other masonry as vertical load-bearing structural components, combined with reinforced concrete ring beams and structural columns to form a spatial force system. It cannot be simply considered that a brick-concrete structure is a prefabricated slab house. Nowadays, many brick-concrete structure houses use cast-in-place floor slabs instead of prefabricated slabs.
