Bending Pipe for Mobile Toilets
The bending pipes used in mobile toilets are divided into two types according to the toilet type: toilet offset connectors and traps.

Toilet Installation Scenario: Toilet Offset Connector
If the mobile toilet adopts a toilet design, a toilet offset connector may be used during installation. This is a pipe fitting specifically designed to adjust the position of the toilet's drain outlet. Its core function is to solve the problem of a mismatch between the toilet's installation position and the original drain outlet by changing the direction of the pipeline. The common offset distance is 5 to 10 centimeters, which can meet the needs of regular space adjustments. In special scenarios (such as building structure limitations or user personalization requirements), the offset distance can be extended to 15 centimeters. This pipe fitting ensures that the toilet can be installed in the designed position while maintaining the sealing and smoothness of the drainage system by extending or offsetting the drainage path. Its material is usually high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or PVC, which has corrosion resistance and anti-aging properties and can adapt to the environment of frequent movement or outdoor use of mobile toilets.
Squat Toilet Installation Scenario: Trap
If the mobile toilet adopts a squat toilet design, the professional name for the bending pipe below it is a trap. The trap is a key component in the drainage system. It forms a section of stored water in the pipeline and uses the water seal to isolate odors and harmful gases from the sewer, preventing them from flowing back into the toilet. According to the different connection methods of the drainage pipes, traps are divided into two typical shapes:
- S-shaped trap: Its structure is similar to a lying-down 'U' shape and is suitable for vertical drainage pipe scenarios. When the squat toilet's drainage pipe needs to be connected vertically downward to the main pipe, the S-shaped trap can form a stable water seal through its curved structure while reducing drainage resistance and ensuring smooth sewage discharge.
- P-shaped trap: Its shape is similar to a side-lying 'question mark' and is suitable for horizontal pipe connection scenarios. When the squat toilet's drainage pipe needs to be connected horizontally to the main pipe, the curved design of the P-shaped trap can effectively connect the horizontal pipes while maintaining the height of the water seal and preventing odor leakage.
The material of the trap is usually PVC or cast iron. The former is lightweight and corrosion-resistant, while the latter is strong and wear-resistant. The appropriate material can be selected according to the use environment of the mobile toilet (such as whether it is frequently moved or exposed to the outdoors).
