Mobile Toilets at the Beijing Winter Olympics
The mobile toilets used at the Beijing Winter Olympics mainly include two types: ecological public toilets and waterless and non-flush ecological toilets provided by Lanbiao Biotechnology.

Ecological Public Toilets
Ecological public toilets are a highlight of the mobile toilets at the Beijing Winter Olympics. Based on solid-liquid separation technology, they achieve harmless treatment of excreta through microbial decomposition. This treatment method is not only environmentally friendly but also features significant characteristics such as water conservation, mobility, and being waterless and non-flush. In terms of water conservation, ecological public toilets do not require large amounts of water for flushing, effectively saving water resources. Their mobility allows them to be flexibly arranged according to the actual needs of the venues, improving usage efficiency. The waterless and non-flush design reduces sewage discharge and lowers environmental pollution. Additionally, ecological public toilets incorporate advanced technologies such as 5G and the Internet of Things, enabling remote monitoring. This makes it convenient for management personnel to grasp the usage status and equipment conditions of the toilets in real-time, ensuring their normal operation. At the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, ecological public toilet technology was implemented in 13 venues, with the construction cost per toilet seat being 100,000 yuan lower than that of traditional water toilets, demonstrating their economic efficiency and practicality.
Waterless and Non-Flush Ecological Toilets
The waterless and non-flush ecological toilets provided by Lanbiao Biotechnology are also an important part of the mobile toilets at the Beijing Winter Olympics. These toilets ensured the smooth progress of the Winter Olympics events throughout. Their fecal microbial in-situ degradation technology enables the toilets to operate without using a single drop of water and without the need for excavating pipelines, greatly simplifying the installation and usage processes. At the same time, these toilets are capable of stable operation in extremely cold weather, ensuring normal usage under different climatic conditions. The application of waterless and non-flush ecological toilets not only reflects the Beijing Winter Olympics' commitment to environmental protection concepts but also provides new ideas and directions for the construction of toilet facilities in future large-scale events.
