Beijing Mobile Public Toilets

Admin October 06, 2026

Beijing has indeed implemented measures for mobile public toilets.

Mobile toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and placed at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide toilet services to the public and customers. They have many advantages. Mobility is their core feature, allowing them to be flexibly adjusted in position according to changes in pedestrian traffic and usage needs in different areas and at different times. They can be quickly deployed to where they are needed, effectively solving the problem of difficulty in finding toilets in local areas. Combinability is also an important advantage. Multiple mobile toilets can be combined according to actual needs to form toilet groups of different scales and functions, meeting the requirements for the number and functions of toilets in different scenarios. The characteristic of easy transportation enables mobile toilets to be delivered to designated locations in a short time and quickly withdrawn when no longer needed, without causing long-term occupation and damage to the site.

Beijing has actively introduced mobile public toilets in the construction of public toilets to enhance the level of urban public services. For example, a newly improved modular mobile public toilet has been set up in the park north of Mingguang Bridge in Haidian District. This toilet fully considers the needs of different groups of people in its functional design. It has added barrier-free toilet compartments and is equipped with children's toilets, baby changing tables, safety handrails, and emergency call devices, providing convenient and safe toilet environments for the disabled, children, and parents with babies. In addition, there are also mobile public toilets at No. 7-9, Beichen East Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, providing toilet convenience for surrounding residents and passersby.

Mobile public toilets are suitable for various places, such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, and other areas with a large flow of people. They can promptly meet the toilet needs of a large number of people. When holding large-scale events or temporary gatherings, mobile public toilets can also be quickly deployed to the event sites to provide necessary sanitary facilities for participants.
