Movable Bathroom Toilet

Admin October 11, 2026

Bathroom toilets can be movable, and such facilities are known as portable toilets.

Portable toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole and can be placed at locations with fixed or temporary needs to provide toilet services for the public and customers. They generally consist of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), flooring, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and moving devices.

In terms of structural form, portable toilets can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. The single structure is relatively independent and simple, while the composite structure is more complex and may be composed of multiple parts to meet different usage needs and spatial layouts.

Regarding mobility, there are lifting and handling-type portable toilets. These toilets are usually large or heavy and require lifting equipment or manual handling to move their positions. There are also powered and towed-type portable toilets. The powered type may have its own power system for autonomous movement, while the towed type can be connected to vehicles or other means of transportation for towing, facilitating rapid deployment at different locations.

Based on sewage treatment methods, portable toilets can be further classified into flush and non-flush suction-type portable toilets, recirculating flush-type portable toilets, and dry-packing-type portable toilets. The flush type is similar to traditional toilets, using water flow to flush away feces. The non-flush suction type uses suction equipment to remove feces. The recirculating flush type treats and recirculates used water to conserve water resources. The dry-packing type uses special packaging materials to pack feces for easy subsequent cleaning and transportation.

In addition, individuals can also make movable toilets using materials such as buckets, water storage tanks, and pallets. For example, some people use several buckets to build one. They first make a base with universal wheels, place and fix the cut buckets, create an entrance, install bucket lids and wooden doors, build the main frame, connect drainage pipes, install floor drains, and install showerheads and toilets. Others use water storage tanks and pallets. They fix universal wheels at the bottom of the pallet, place and cut the water storage tanks to form open tank bodies, stack and fix them, cut out a doorway, install drainage components, toilets, faucets, washbasins, showerheads, and finally install doors.
