Bathroom Mobile Toilet Position
The position of a mobile toilet in the bathroom can be adjusted through methods such as toilet offset connectors, inter-floor drainage modification, same-floor drainage modification, and wall-mounted toilet installation. The appropriate method should be selected based on the bathroom's drainage type and the offset distance.

Using a Toilet Offset Connector
A toilet offset connector is a commonly used tool for short-distance offsets and comes in two types: integrated and side-pipe. The integrated offset connector is suitable for short-distance adjustments of 2-10 cm. It connects via a 110 mm diameter flat pipe, whose length can be adjusted, but the offset distance should be controlled within 20 cm. The side-pipe offset connector generally allows offsets of no more than 50 cm, with a minimum slope of 0.5 cm reserved for every 10 cm of offset to ensure smooth drainage. If the offset exceeds 10 cm, a straight-drain toilet should be selected to reduce the risk of blockage. When installing the offset connector, attention should be paid to sealing to prevent leakage.Inter-Floor Drainage Bathroom Modification
If the bathroom has inter-floor drainage (with drainage pipes located in the ceiling of the floor below), you can negotiate with the neighbor below to drill holes in the floor slab and rearrange the toilet plumbing. However, this method requires damaging the decoration of the floor below, and 99% of neighbors may refuse, making it extremely difficult to implement in practice. It is only considered as a theoretical option.Same-Floor Drainage Bathroom with a Sunken Slab
If the same-floor drainage bathroom has a sunken slab (structural lowered slab space), the toilet position can be directly adjusted within the sunken slab without damaging the floor slab or relying on the cooperation of the floor below. This method offers high flexibility in modification but requires ensuring proper waterproofing of the sunken slab to prevent future leakage.Wall-Mounted Toilet Installation
A wall-mounted toilet is fixed with a concealed cistern and bracket, with the drainage directly connected to the main vertical pipe. It is suitable for short-distance modifications near the drainage pipe (usually within 1 meter of the original pipe position). During installation, a sloped hole should be reserved in the wall to ensure smooth drainage, and the space above the cistern can be used to create a niche for additional storage. This option has certain requirements for the load-bearing capacity of the wall and requires confirmation that it is a load-bearing wall.
Precautions:
- The longer the offset distance, the higher the risk of blockage. It is recommended to prioritize same-floor drainage or wall-mounted toilets.
- Before modification, confirm the bathroom's drainage type (inter-floor/same-floor) to avoid ineffective construction.
- All plumbing modifications must comply with building codes, and it is recommended to have them carried out by professionals.
