Avatar Container House
The 'Avatar Container House' is not a standard architectural type in reality, but a popular science analysis can be conducted by combining the relevant settings in the movie with real-world container house technology.

Relevant Settings in the Movie
In the Avatar series of movies, there are architectural elements similar to container structures. For example, District 26 includes connecting structures of more than two container-like units, with a sturdy, high-strength cage-like outer shell and four hydraulic support columns at the bottom. It is equipped with a life support system and a small-scale biological research laboratory, as well as three connecting units and living quarters such as bedrooms. The facility can generate its own power and maintain communication with the Hell's Gate headquarters, and can be transported using medium and large aircraft (such as the Samson transport aircraft). Additionally, the container structure of Base 26 is well-reproduced in the Lego Avatar 75573 set. The base roof features a quick-release design, allowing minifigures to be placed inside the life support pods, and wheelchairs can also be stored inside. However, due to the limited number of parts, the size of the base is reduced compared to the original, with only one of the two container compartments retained.
Real-world Container House Technology
In reality, container houses are a common form of prefabricated architecture. They offer several advantages:
- High degree of prefabrication: They can be standardized and produced in factories, then transported to the site for rapid assembly, significantly shortening the construction period.
- Sturdy and durable: Made of steel, they have strong structural strength and can withstand a certain amount of external impact.
- Highly mobile: Easy to transport and relocate, suitable for places that require frequent movement, such as construction sites and temporary camps.
- Environmentally friendly and energy-saving: Some container houses use eco-friendly materials and can achieve energy-saving effects through reasonable design, such as solar power generation and good thermal insulation.
However, there are also some differences between real-world container houses and the settings in the movie. Real-world container houses usually focus more on practicality and cost-effectiveness, and may not have the complex and advanced functional configurations seen in the movie, such as life support systems and biological research laboratories.
