Mobile toilets with automatic fecal processing mainly include technical types such as microbial degradation, circulating water flushing, dry packing, and those equipped with mobile fecal separation and suction trucks.
Microbial Degradation Type: Represented by Chongqing's eco-friendly toilets, this type employs microbial fermentation technology. It does not require water flushing. When feces enter the toilet, specific microbial communities ferment and decompose them. Under suitable environmental conditions, microorganisms can rapidly convert organic matter in feces into simple inorganic substances, such as carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of harmless substances, thus achieving automatic fecal processing. This type of mobile toilet has the advantages of water conservation and environmental protection, with a relatively stable processing process that does not produce odors or secondary pollution.
Circulating Water Flushing Type: Equipped with intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment devices, and added with biological strains, this type utilizes biofilm technology to accelerate fecal decomposition. During the treatment process, feces first enter the treatment device, where they are decomposed through the alternating action of aerobic and anaerobic environments, as well as the synergistic effect of biological strains and biofilms. The treated water is purified to meet certain water quality standards and can be recycled for toilet flushing, achieving water resource recycling and reducing water consumption.
Dry Packing Type: This type has no water flushing device, and excreta are collected in biodegradable plastic bags. After use, the system automatically changes the bag, and the plastic bags containing excreta are collected and processed centrally. This type of mobile toilet is suitable for areas with scarce water resources, and the use of biodegradable plastic bags reduces environmental pollution, with a simple and convenient processing process.
Type Equipped with Mobile Fecal Separation and Suction Truck: This equipment processes fecal sludge through four steps: vacuum extraction, solid-liquid separation, drug analysis, and fecal dehydration. First, it uses vacuum extraction technology to suck fecal sludge from the mobile toilet into the equipment; then, it performs solid-liquid separation to separate solid waste from liquid feces; next, it conducts drug analysis on the feces and adds appropriate drugs for reaction; finally, it dehydrates the feces to produce raw materials for organic fertilizer, and the sewage is treated to meet discharge standards. This technology can be applied to septic tanks or sludge treatment, and in combination with mobile toilets, it achieves automatic fecal processing and resource utilization.
