Automatic Cleaning Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

The operational mechanism of Beijing's fully automatic mobile toilet is based on an independent ecosystem that combines space compression and resource recycling, achieving efficient cleaning and resource reuse through waterless fecal treatment and a fully automatic intelligent control network.

Waterless Fecal Treatment System

This system combines physical and biological technologies to achieve harmless treatment and resource recycling of feces. Urine flows by gravity into an independent collection pipe, avoiding mixing with feces; feces are regularly cleaned by a piston-type scraper mechanical device, with the scraper sliding along the inner wall of the toilet pit to push feces into a storage tank while preventing residue adhesion. The storage tank is equipped with a drying unit that reduces fecal moisture content through heating, inhibiting microbial growth and reducing volume. Some systems also incorporate microbial degradation technology, using specific bacterial strains to decompose organic matter, further reducing treatment difficulty. The treated residue can be recycled as organic fertilizer, achieving a closed resource loop.

Fully Automatic Intelligent Control Network

This network consists of sensors, controllers, and communication modules, enabling real-time monitoring and dynamic adjustment of toilet functions.

  • Human Presence Sensing and Door Lock Control: Infrared human presence sensors detect when someone enters, automatically locking the door and activating the ventilation fan to ensure privacy and air circulation; upon exit, the door unlocks and triggers a cleaning program.
  • Touchless Operation: The toilet seat is coated with an antibacterial layer and features an infrared-sensing automatic lid mechanism, reducing the risk of contact transmission; the flushing system senses usage status through sensors and automatically completes flushing without manual operation.
  • Environmental Parameter Monitoring: Liquid level sensors continuously monitor the remaining volume in the recycled water tank and fecal storage tank to prevent overflow; humidity sensors control the heating power of the drying unit to optimize energy consumption; odor sensors detect concentrations of gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, automatically increasing ventilation or activating activated carbon filters when levels exceed standards to maintain air quality in the toilet.

Auxiliary Cleaning and Safety Design

The toilet floor is made of slip-resistant materials to reduce the risk of slipping; the automatic flushing toilet bowl uses high-pressure water flow to quickly clean the inner walls, reducing residue; the ventilation and lighting system combines natural lighting with LED illumination to ensure sufficient light while saving energy. Additionally, the system uploads operational data to a management platform via communication modules, enabling remote monitoring and fault warnings to improve maintenance efficiency.

This design achieves efficient cleaning, resource recycling, and low maintenance costs for mobile toilets under conditions without external water supply or sewage pipes, making it suitable for public areas such as outdoor events and emergency scenarios.
