How to Assemble a Single-Toilet Mobile Restroom

Admin October 12, 2026

The assembly of a single-toilet mobile restroom should be carried out according to standardized procedures to ensure safety and proper functionality. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-Installation Preparations

  1. Site Survey and Planning
    • Ensure the installation location avoids low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage power lines, and obstacles. The site should be level and have sufficient load-bearing capacity.
    • Measure the site dimensions to ensure the restroom's access passage is at least 1.2 meters wide, with adequate operational space reserved for installation and maintenance.
  2. Material Inventory and Inspection
    • Verify the quantity and model of the mobile restroom's main body and accessories (such as sinks, flushing devices, sewage pipes, curtains, non-slip mats, etc.) against the inventory list.
    • Inspect the equipment for any external damage, cracks, or missing or damaged internal components (such as water tanks and toilets).
  3. Tool and Personnel Preparation
    • Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, spirit levels, and electric drills. In areas with strong winds, prepare windbreak ropes or ballast blocks.
    • Arrange for 2-3 professional installers. If the restroom's main body is heavy (e.g., over 200 kg), coordinate with a crane or forklift for assistance in handling.

II. On-Site Installation Steps

  1. Foundation Fixing Operations
    • Use lifting equipment to move the restroom's main body to the designated location. Adjust the equipment's levelness using a spirit level, ensuring the deviation is no more than 3 mm to prevent instability during use.
    • Secure the base with expansion bolts (for hard surfaces) or use ballast blocks for weighting (for soft surfaces). In areas with wind speeds of 6 or higher, install windbreak devices.
  2. Water and Electricity Connection and Debugging
    • Sewage System: Connect the sewage pipe to the sewer or collection tank, ensuring the pipe slope is at least 2% to prevent backflow of sewage. Seal the joints with sealant or clamps.
    • Water Supply System: Connect to the water source (recommended pipe diameter of at least DN20) and test the flushing device's pressure to ensure the single flush volume meets the design standard (usually 3-6 liters).
    • Electrical Connection (if equipped with lighting or exhaust fans): Use waterproof sockets and ensure the ground wire is reliably connected to avoid the risk of electric shock.
  3. Detail Inspection and Cleaning
    • Install accessories such as curtains, non-slip mats, and hooks. Check the operation of door locks, flush buttons, and exhaust fans for flexibility.
    • Thoroughly clean the interior of the restroom, disinfect contact surfaces such as toilets and sinks, and place consumables like toilet paper and air fresheners.

III. Post-Installation Inspection and Handover

  1. Function Test Checklist
    • Flush Test: Press the flush button three times consecutively to observe whether the drainage is smooth without blockages or leaks.
    • Load-Bearing Test: Evenly step on the top of the equipment (such as the pedal or roof) to check for structural stability, without any abnormal noises or deformations.
    • Seal Test: Close the doors and windows and spray water mist to check for water leakage on the walls and joints.
  2. Handover Document Confirmation
    • Provide the customer with an Equipment Installation Acceptance Certificate, specifying the installation date, warranty period (usually 1-2 years), and usage precautions (such as prohibiting the dumping of debris and regular cleaning).

Assembly Features: The mobile restroom adopts a modular design, with columns and walls connected by snap fasteners, allowing for quick assembly similar to building with blocks. The precise fit of the snap fasteners ensures structural airtightness.
