Ankang Housing Container Installation
Admin September 15, 2026
The installation of housing containers in Ankang requires following steps such as trench excavation, foundation construction, steel frame installation, floor installation (for multi-story buildings), color steel plate installation, first-floor floor construction, door and window installation, and interior decoration. Attention should also be paid to structural safety, load limits, and maintenance requirements.

I. Installation Steps
- Foundation Construction: Trenches need to be excavated and foundations poured. Foundation types include brick foundations or concrete foundations to ensure a stable foundation.
- Steel Frame Installation: The steel frame of the container house is erected, ensuring that connecting bolts are tightened, components are accurately positioned, and avoiding false welding or missed welding.
- Floor and Wall Installation: For multi-story buildings, prefabricated floors need to be installed; walls are made of color steel plates, with circuits, drainage pipes, and doors and windows pre-installed to reduce on-site construction time.
- Floor and Decoration: Complete the pouring of the first-floor floor, ensuring a dense and crack-free surface; finally, conduct interior decoration, including ceiling and wall treatments.
II. Usage Precautions
- Structural Safety:
- Do not disassemble screws or components; non-professionals are not allowed to modify the structure.
- The floor load must not exceed the static load value specified in the contract; avoid vigorous activities such as jumping or running.
- Environmental Adaptability:
- The indoor floor should be 50mm higher than the outdoor floor, and drainage ditches should be built to prevent water accumulation.
- Steel components need to be regularly derusted and painted to prevent corrosion; enhanced anti-corrosion measures are required in coastal or humid areas.
- Functional Limitations:
- Open flame stoves are prohibited indoors; if a kitchen or bathroom needs to be set up, a range hood should be installed and waterproof and anti-corrosion treatments should be done, with the fire source at least 50cm away from the wall.
III. Maintenance Requirements
- Routine Inspection: Regularly inspect the tightness of bolts, the sealing of walls and roofs, and promptly repair damaged parts.
- Anti-Corrosion Treatment: Steel components need to be repainted every 1-2 years, with the maintenance cycle shortened in coastal areas.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the interior and exterior clean and avoid scratching the surface of color steel plates with sharp objects.
