Application for Purchasing Mobile Public Toilets

Dear Leader,

With regional development and an increase in population mobility, the contradiction between the supply and demand of public toilets has become increasingly prominent, especially in high-traffic areas such as tourist attractions, commercial districts, and transportation hubs. Due to issues like long construction periods and difficulties in layout adjustments, traditional fixed public toilets find it hard to quickly respond to changes in demand. To enhance public service levels and optimize the urban environment, we hereby apply to purchase a batch of mobile public toilets, with the specific details as follows:

I. Application Content We plan to purchase 10-20 mobile public toilets and prioritize their deployment in the following areas:

  1. High-traffic public places: Such as parks, squares, and pedestrian streets, to alleviate the difficulty of finding toilets for tourists and citizens;
  2. Temporary event areas: Such as large exhibition venues and sports event sites, to meet short-term concentrated demands;
  3. Areas not covered by fixed public toilets: Such as old urban areas and urban-rural fringe zones, to make up for infrastructure shortcomings. The purchased models should meet requirements such as being environmentally friendly, easy to maintain, and highly adaptable. For example, they should adopt water-saving designs, be equipped with septic tanks and sewage discharge interfaces to ensure compliance with hygiene standards, and have an appearance that coordinates with the surrounding environment while balancing practicality and aesthetics.

II. Reasons for the Application

  1. Resolving the supply-demand contradiction: The current number of fixed public toilets is insufficient and unevenly distributed. Mobile public toilets can be flexibly deployed to quickly fill service gaps;
  2. Enhancing emergency response capabilities: In the face of sudden events or natural disasters, mobile public toilets can quickly respond to ensure basic hygiene needs;
  3. Reducing construction costs: Compared with traditional public toilets, mobile public toilets do not require land acquisition and complex construction, have lower maintenance costs, and can have a service life of 5-10 years;
  4. Complying with environmental protection concepts: By adopting ecological degradation technologies or circulating water systems, they reduce water consumption and pollution, contributing to the construction of green cities.

III. Budget and Implementation Plan Initial budget estimates show that the purchase cost of a single mobile public toilet is approximately RMB 20,000-50,000 (including basic installation), with an annual maintenance cost of approximately RMB 5,000-10,000 per unit. The total budget needs to be determined based on the actual number of purchases. If approved, we will immediately initiate supplier bidding to ensure deployment and commissioning within one month.

This move will significantly enhance the convenience of public services and improve the city's image. We sincerely request your support and approval.
