Alipay's Mobile Toilet Services
Alipay offers mobile services related to toilets, including a domestic "One-Click Toilet Finder" and an overseas QR code gate-opening service. Details are as follows:

Domestic "One-Click Toilet Finder" Function: Alipay has launched a "toilet finder" function in some regions of China, covering the entire province of Jiangxi as well as cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Suzhou, Nantong, Yangzhou, Lianyungang, Suqian, and Wuhu. Users can search for relevant government service mini-programs (such as "Jiangsu Government Services") on Alipay and use the keyword "public toilet" for searching. The system will automatically recommend nearby public toilets based on the user's GPS location or support fuzzy search functionality. The search results not only include the specific location of the public toilets but also display their grading (such as star ratings) and facility configurations (such as whether they are equipped with barrier-free facilities or baby care rooms), helping users quickly select public toilets that meet their needs. This function effectively solves the problem of "difficulty in finding toilets" in unfamiliar environments by integrating government data with map services.
Overseas QR Code Gate-Opening Service: To address the toilet needs of international tourists, Alipay has expanded its cross-border service scenarios through technological cooperation. In some regions of Europe, users can search for public toilets across Europe (including publicly accessible building toilets) using the Gaode App and, after obtaining location information, use Alipay+ cross-border payment services for cashless payment. Specifically, more than 140 public toilets located in city centers and tourist attractions in Germany, as well as public toilets at train stations and popular tourist spots in Switzerland, support Alipay QR code gate-opening. This service not only resolves the toilet difficulties faced by tourists due to language barriers or a lack of coins but also enhances the convenience of cross-border travel through digital means. For example, tourists no longer need to exchange local currency or purchase special tokens; they can simply scan the QR code with their mobile phones to complete payment and enter the public toilet, significantly optimizing their travel experience.
The aforementioned functions demonstrate Alipay's digital innovation in the public service sector. By integrating positioning technology, government data, and cross-border payment capabilities, Alipay has built a toilet service system that covers both domestic and overseas scenarios, meeting the daily needs of domestic users and providing technological support for cross-border travel.
