3x6-Meter Container Interior House Layout

Admin September 17, 2026

The interior layout of a 3x6-meter container can be designed in various ways according to different purposes. Here are specific planning suggestions:

1. Mobile Homestay Layout
This plan needs to balance living comfort and functionality. The ceiling uses PVC吊顶 (PVC ceiling), which is moisture-proof and facilitates the installation of a lighting system, paired with LED lights to provide uniform illumination. Soundproofing materials can be laid on the walls to enhance privacy. A 1.5-meter-wide double bed can be placed inside the space, with wall lights and switch sockets configured at the head of the bed to meet nighttime electricity needs. A small sofa or storage cabinet can be placed at the foot of the bed for temporary rest or luggage storage. If space permits, a simple kitchen area can be added in the corner, equipped with an induction cooker, sink, and small refrigerator, with water pipes pre-embedded. The bathroom can be designed as a wet-dry separation, using folding doors to save space, with a toilet, showerhead, and sink installed inside, and circuit reserved for a water heater socket.

2. Living Space and Multi-functional Use
This plan needs to flexibly adapt to living, office, or storage needs. If used as a bedroom, a 1.8-meter-wide double bed can be placed along the long side of the container, with switch sockets and reading lights set up at the head of the bed; a sofa bed or folding table can be placed at the foot of the bed for leisure and temporary office work. If used as an office, a 1.2-meter-wide desk can be placed on the north and south sides of the long side on the east, and a third desk can be set up against the west wall, with the main aisle width kept above 0.8 meters to ensure smooth passage. A 1-meter buffer space should be reserved behind the door to avoid colliding with furniture when opening the door. A file cabinet or green plants can be installed on the north wall to separate the work area from the storage area; if there is a window on the south side, the desk can be placed parallel to the window to make full use of natural light. If storage functionality is also required, high-rise storage cabinets can be set up in the corner, with space left at the bottom for suitcases or tools.

3. Customized Office Layout
For office needs, fine decoration can be carried out and circuits improved. Anti-static flooring or carpets can be laid on the ground to enhance comfort; the walls can be painted white or installed with soundproof panels to reduce external interference. Desks are distributed along the long side, with a main aisle left in the middle and a 1-meter buffer zone set up behind the door. Open bookshelves or file cabinets can be installed on the north wall, with green plants placed on top to beautify the environment. If space is limited, an L-shaped desk can be used to utilize the corner and increase the work area. Enough sockets should be reserved in the circuit to meet the electricity needs of computers, printers, and other equipment; network circuits need to be planned in advance to ensure uniform signal coverage.

4. Customized Dormitory Layout
If used as a dormitory, the focus should be on optimizing sleep and storage functions. Bunk beds can be used to save space; each bed can be equipped with a bedside light and socket for nighttime use. A wardrobe or storage cabinet can be set up at the foot of the bed, with overhead cabinets installed on top to increase storage capacity. If space permits, a long table can be placed in the middle as a study or dining area. The circuit needs to reserve sockets for air conditioners to ensure cooling needs in summer; the water circuit needs to be connected to the sink and shower room to meet daily washing needs.
