3x6 Container House Decoration
The decoration of a 3x6-meter container house requires comprehensive design from five dimensions: space planning, material selection, ventilation and lighting, decorative details, and safety compliance. The specific plan is as follows:

1. Space Planning and Functional Zoning
The internal net area is approximately 18 square meters, and priority should be given to meeting the three major functions of sleeping, storage, and studying/working. For the sleeping area, it is recommended to place a 1.5-meter-wide bed against the wall, with built-in niches or hanging shelves designed at the head of the bed to save space and facilitate storage. For the storage area, vertical space can be utilized to customize floor-to-ceiling wardrobes or install wall-mounted storage shelves. The bed frame can be chosen with drawers or use under-bed storage boxes. For the studying/working area, place an 80-100 cm wide foldable desk by the window or in a corner, paired with an adjustable-height chair to balance flexibility and practicality. The circulation design should ensure a smooth path from the door to the bed, wardrobe, and desk, with at least a 60 cm passage between the bed and the wardrobe to avoid a cramped feeling.
2. Material Selection and Sound and Thermal Insulation
The walls should first be installed with 5 cm thick expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam boards or rock wool boards, and then covered with fire-resistant gypsum boards or wood veneer panels to balance thermal insulation and fire resistance. For the floor, composite wood flooring or PVC flooring is recommended, which is moisture-proof and easy to clean. Alternatively, carpets can be laid directly (with attention to moisture-proof treatment). The ceiling can adopt a light steel keel + gypsum board ceiling or an integrated ceiling (such as aluminum ceiling panels) to hide pipes and wires and enhance sound insulation. Some designs use 1.5-thick square tubes as the main material, paired with fire-resistant rock wool boards, to further improve structural safety.
3. Ventilation and Lighting Optimization
For ventilation, holes can be made above the bed or wardrobe to install exhaust fans with a diameter of 10-15 cm or add a fresh air system. For lighting, it is recommended to add double-glazed windows (with dimensions of 60x90 cm). Acrylic panels or sun panels can also be used as alternatives to glass to reduce costs. Some designs adopt a layout with one door and two windows to ensure sufficient air circulation and natural light.
4. Decorative Details and Personalized Design
The color scheme should mainly consist of light colors (such as off-white, light gray, and natural wood color), with a small amount of bright colors as accents to create a bright and warm atmosphere. The lighting should adopt a "main light + auxiliary lighting" mode, with a 30-40 watt LED ceiling light as the main light, and wall lights or table lamps installed in the bedside and desk areas to meet local lighting needs. Soft furnishings can add layers through elements such as curtains, carpets, and wall hangings. For example, choosing cotton and linen curtains with good light-blocking properties or geometric-patterned carpets can enhance living comfort.
5. Safety and Compliance Considerations
If holes need to be made in the container or heavy objects (such as hanging cabinets or air conditioners) need to be suspended, it is necessary to consult a structural engineer in advance for reinforcement to avoid damaging the structural stability. The material selection should comply with fire safety regulations, and the electrical wiring should be operated by professionals to ensure electrical safety.
